About this Position
Professional Analysis, Inc. (PAI) is seeking a Business Development (BD) Lead to support our growing portfolio of logistics support contracts.
PAI is a Veteran Owned Small Business focused on providing genuine value to our customers by solving their logistics challenges in a way that maximizes resources while minimizing operational impacts. We are a defense industry company with operations in over a dozen states and ten foreign countries. Over 65% of our workforce are veterans who are proud to continue their support to our country.
Based at the company headquarters in Alexandria, VA, this BD Lead will report directly to the CEO and will develop and execute a comprehensive growth plan. Ideal candidates will have a growth mindset, experience supporting DoD customers and possess communication skills necessary to identify, collaborate and respond to emerging opportunities.
Specific Responsivities:
• Lead comprehensive BD campaigns
• Identify and track new opportunities
• Manage proposal efforts
• Write proposal submissions
• Manage BD relationships with other companies and prospective customers
• Host weekly BD meeting
• Grow the company in accordance with agreed-to incentivized goals
• Assist in managing government contracts including startup of new contracts
Personal Qualifications:
• Extensive experience working with US government contracts
• BD experience – especially proposal writing
• Knowledge of US Navy and / or Marine Corps
• Experience working as a federal government contractor or in federal service
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Critical thinking and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Preferred Attributes:
• Current SECRET level security clearance
• Strong problem solving and time management skills
