Position Overview
PAI is seeking a motivated Junior SWFT-PM Analyst to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) 04Z at the Washington Navy Yard.This role involves assisting in the analysis and management of workforce forecasting and pricing models to enhance shipbuilding program efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, validating, and analyzing workforce and cost data within the SWFT-PM system
- Support the development and maintenance of cost models, schedules, and performance metrics for NAVSEA shipbuilding and conversion programs.
- Generate standardized and ad hoc reports for stakeholders using SWFT-PM and related datasets.
- Document business processes and system functions to support data integrity and repeatability.
- Coordinate with program management, engineering, and financial stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting and labor planning.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure data quality across input sources.
- Support training sessions and end-user inquiries related to the SWFT-PM platform.
- Maintain awareness of DoD cost estimating standards and Navy workforce planning initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Access, SQL, VBA, and data modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in building and maintaining relational databases using Microsoft Access and Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, macros, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SWFT-PM or similar workforce planning tools (e.g., EVM systems, MS Project).
- Exposure to DoD program management environments or shipbuilding programs.
Working Conditions
- Position is based at the Washington Navy Yard.
- May require occasional travel to Navy or contractor facilities.
- Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be considered depending on program needs.
