PAI is proud to announce the newest addition to our leadership team: Mr. John Armellino, who joins us as a Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Armellino will be working closely with our Senior Vice President of Business Development, Dr. Tom Meyer, as we continue to grow the business and expand our customer base.
John brings with him over 30 years of distinguished leadership and service as a career veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Throughout his military career, John held positions of command at every rank from second lieutenant through colonel, with operational staff assignments spanning tactical to strategic levels. His global experience includes crisis response, humanitarian assistance, and high-level international negotiations that contributed meaningfully to U.S. diplomatic efforts.
John is a native of Bloomfield, New Jersey, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Rutgers University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from National University and a Master of Strategic Studies from the Marine Corps War College.
His leadership philosophy—“Leading from purpose and not from fear empowers us to do what is best and not what looks right”—has shaped a career marked by impact and integrity. Among his notable accomplishments, John spearheaded initiatives to enhance the fitness, resilience, and innovation of over 220,000 Marines, creating a model for bottom-up innovation within the Corps.
His service has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Bronze Star, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with Combat Distinguishing Device), and the Combat Action Ribbon for his roles in Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and Resolute Support.
Outside the office, John is an avid runner and a dedicated volunteer. He has completed four Marine Corps Marathons as a Community Athlete supporting the Semper Fi Fund.
John’s wealth of experience, strategic insight, and deep commitment to service make him a valuable addition to our team, and we are looking forward to working with him to bring PAI's brand of exceptional service with integrity to more customers within the United States government and beyond!
