Inventory Analyst - Mobile, AL - (Part-time / Seasonal)

Professional Analysis, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time or Seasonal Inventory Analyst to support the Military Sealift Command (MSC) inventory operations during the holiday season in Mobile, Alabama. The Inventory Analyst will provide onsite Logistics Support for the Deactivation/Decommissioning of Navy ships. This temporary role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills who can quickly assess stock levels, identify discrepancies, and support accurate and efficient inventory processes.

This position may be particularly suitable for students, professionals seeking part-time hours, or individuals with prior inventory or supply chain experience looking for seasonal work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 100% inventory in identified spaces by the Government utilizing inventory audit sheets provided by the Government

• Validate all data fields on the Inventory Audit Sheet and add those materials which are in the location but not on audit sheet.

• Relabel material with the correct OEM Part Number, NIIN, TNICN and Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) both on the packaging and inventory audit sheet

• Assist in updating dims and weights for all materials

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Some experience in inventory analysis, data entry, supply chain, or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Ability to locate parts and bin locations accurately

• Ability to work with a team or individually to perform daily tasks

• Ability to record count data per the company’s compliance standard

• Ability to lift boxes

• Ability to stand and walk distances within the warehouses
