Professional Analysis Inc. (PAI) is seeking qualified applicants for a Warehouse Specialist to support The Property Management Division (Code 107) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) located in Philadelphia, PA.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Specialist provides day-to-day warehouse and material management support in direct support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). This role supports Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) and Plant Property & Equipment / Asset Management (PP&E/AM) by executing receiving, storage, inventory, material handling, shipping, and disposal functions in accordance with Navy, DoD, NAVSEA, and FAR/DFARS requirements.

Warehouse Specialists operate contractor-managed warehouse facilities and interface closely with Government personnel to ensure accurate accountability, timely delivery, and full lifecycle management of Government property.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Material Operations

• Receive, inspect, accept, segregate, store, issue, and ship Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) and General Equipment (GE)

• Perform material handling, packing, crating, staging, and transportation support for incoming and outgoing shipments

• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts and other warehouse equipment, in accordance with safety requirements

• Coordinate local pickup and delivery of material between warehouse facilities and end users

Inventory & Accountability

• Execute physical inventories in accordance with the Command Inventory Plan and Government directives

• Perform Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management (WM) transactions in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), including receipt, acceptance, issuance, reversals, and cancellations

• Track, document, and report missing, lost, damaged, or stolen Government property in coordination with Code 107

• Support audit readiness and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance activities

Shipping, Receiving & Documentation

• Support creation and processing of DD Form 1149s for shipment and transfer of Government property

• Assist with preparation of shipping documentation, packing lists, and receipt confirmations to support vendor payment and accountability

• Coordinate with technical departments to ensure proper receipt inspection and acceptance of material

Disposition & Facility Support

• Perform disposition of excess, obsolete, or unserviceable material in accordance with applicable regulations

• Dispose of dunnage, packaging, and crating materials generated during acquisition and delivery processes

• Support warehouse transition activities, including physical inventories, packing, crating, staging, and movement of materials during start-up or close-out periods

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2–4 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience (DoD or federal environment preferred)

• Experience performing receiving, storage, inventory, shipping, and material accountability functions

• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn Government inventory systems (e.g., N-ERP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting Navy, DoD, or federal supply chain or property management operations

• Familiarity with OM&S, PP&E, or Government Furnished Property (GFP) accountability

• Experience supporting physical inventories and audit readiness activities

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Warehouse environment with regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment

• Work performed Monday–Friday during normal operating hours (0730–1600), with occasional travel between warehouse and Government sites as required
