Professional Analysis, LLC (PAI) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Analyst IV (Strategic Planner) for the Enterprise SECREP Program (ESP) for assistance with Retail Maintenance, Retail Sourcing and Business Analytics for Marine Corps Equipment.  This position provides analytics support of Marine Corps Logistics Command requirements in Albany, GA. Work must be performed on site in Albany, GA.

 

The Functional Analyst IV will play a critical role in analyzing and improving supply chain processes, providing change management support, and advising on strategic-level actions to enhance logistics and supply chain operations for the U.S. Marine Corps. This position requires an in-depth understanding of logistics planning, program execution, and strategic initiatives.

 

JOB FUNCTION AND DUTIES:

·         Analyze supply chain processes and architecture, providing strategic-level recommendations for improvement.

·         Provide change management support to government clients, assisting in the adoption of new processes and procedures.

·         Apply knowledge of laws, policies, regulations, and precedents related to logistics planning and program execution.

·         Develop and propose recommendations for changes to Marine Corps policies.

·         Prepare and deliver briefings, documents, and communications related to Strategic Logistics Services for senior management and executive teams.

·         Facilitate meetings and conferences for strategic initiatives and process improvements.

·         Prepare trip reports for any conferences or meetings attended, as directed by the government.

·         Apply expert knowledge and experience in the following areas of logistics planning and execution:

o   Strategic Planning

o   Metrics Management

o   Comprehensive Inventory Management Improvement Plan (CIMIP)

o   SECREP Working Integrated Process Team (WIPT)

o   Demand Forecasting

o   Allowance Setting

o   Backorder Management

o   Coordinated Consumables Management (CCM)

o   SECREP Indenture Structure

o   Secondary Reparable Total Allowance Re-Computation Tool (START)

o   Global Combat Support Systems-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) functionality and integration

o   SECREP Wholesale Pricing

·         Perform additional duties typically associated with a Functional Analyst role in logistics and supply chain management.

 

CAPABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

CAPABILITIES:

·         Ability to analyze complex problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and apply solutions.

·         Strong organizational skills to manage complex tasks and multiple priorities.

·         Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with personnel at various levels and ranks.

·         In-depth knowledge of administrative processes and documentation requirements for logistics program execution and sustainment

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Logistics Management, Statistics, or a related discipline).

Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in the following areas:

o   Working with military wholesale and retail logistics activities in Reparable/Consumable support.

o   Management of Ground Equipment Secondary Items.

o   Leading strategic process re-engineering and development efforts.

o   Performance management frameworks for evaluating the effectiveness of Products & Services.

o   Supply chain business processes and architecture.

o   Training affected employees, developing curriculum and materials, and providing classroom instruction, particularly for re-engineered processes.
