Professional Analysis, Inc. (PAI) is seeking Intermediate NDTE Operator/Technicians, contingent upon award, to support the U.S. Army TACOM Clothing & Heraldry Product Support Integration Directorate (C&HPSID) under the RS3 contract. These positions provide entry-to-mid-level technical expertise in support of the Army’s Non-Destructive Test Equipment (NDTE) Logistic Services program.
Intermediate NDTE Operators perform inspection, repair, and technical support functions on mission-critical body armor systems using the NDTE Automated Inspection System (AIS) and other specialized tools. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong mechanical and electrical trouble shooting skills, attention to detail, and adherence to Army safety standards.

· Assist in system assembly, troubleshooting, and operation under the supervision of the Senior NDTE Technician or Field Engineer.
· Inventory, sort, and prepare body armor plates for inspection.
· Conduct tap testing, visual and physical inspections, and isolate plates requiring repair.
· Process body armor through the NDTE-AIS system and apply correct disposition labels.
· Perform external material repairs and package processed armor according to handling policies.
· Conduct circuit-level troubleshooting and operate specialized tools (e.g., RUPS-Hybrid, EMD repair kit).
· Adhere to radiation safety protocols and complete required annual training.
· At least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years reading and utilizing mechanical drawings and manuals.
· At least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years performing general electrical control and electronic troubleshooting.
· At least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years with circuit-level troubleshooting and system-level control wiring troubleshooting.
· Must be able to work with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
