Transportation Assistant / Alternate Site Manager

Job Summary
Professional Analysis, Inc. is currently soliciting applications for the position of Transportation Assistant / Alternate Site Manager, located in the Djibouti, Africa area to serve on our Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Contract contingent on award.
The Transportation Assistant provides oversight of transportation functions and serves as the Alternate Site Manager in the absence of the Site Manager. This role ensures timely and accurate movement of shipments and maintains authority to act on all contract matters.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage transportation operations for issue transactions, including air, surface, parcel, and sea shipments.
• Direct employees in planning outbound shipping loads and completing required transportation documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable contracts, regulations, and freight management systems (DTC, SDDC, GFM).
• Plan and allocate resources based on workload projections, establishing deadlines and priorities.
• Serve as Alternate Site Manager with full authority in the absence of the Site Manager.
• Utilize WMS and other Government systems to execute transportation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and occupational health standards in transportation activities.
Requirements
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in transportation using WMS or equivalent automated systems within the past five (5) years.
• Knowledge of Government and commercial traffic management functions.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance.
