Professional Analysis Inc. (PAI) is seeking qualified applicants for a CDL Truck Driver to support The Property Management Division (Code 107) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) located in Philadelphia, PA.
Position Overview
The Truck Driver supports warehouse and supply chain operations in support of NSWCPD’s Property Management Division (Code 107). This role performs the safe pickup, transport, and delivery of government property, materials, and equipment between designated receiving areas, contractor facilities, and government facilities. Tasks include assisting with shipping and receiving, staging, crating, load securement, and support to warehouse specialists, supply technicians, and material coordinator
Key Responsibilities
• Perform local pickup and delivery of incoming and outgoing government shipments and material in accordance with mission needs
• Support transportation, staging, loading, unloading, and movement of material to/from Virginia Beach warehouse and/or other locations as required
• Assist in packing, crating, material tracking, and warehouse transition support during startup and closeout periods
• Support issuance, shipping, receipt, segregation, storage, disposal, and inventory processes in coordination with warehouse staff
• Operate company/contractor/Government vehicles safely, complying with Federal/state/local regulations and Government site security procedures
• Coordinate deliveries with centralized receiving and end-users as directed
• Support accuracy and accountability for material transported, including documentation, receipts, transfers, and DD1149 forms as required
• Maintain vehicle inspections, cleanliness, and safety compliance standards
• Support property accountability, loss reporting, and disposition processes (GFP/CAP/PP&E) consistent with FAR/DFARS regulations
• Work collaboratively with warehouse specialists, material handling laborers, and supply technicians in a team-based operational environment
Required Qualifications
• Active Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and CDL License.
• Ability to lift, load, and secure materials and equipment of varying weights and dimensions
• Ability to read shipping documents, packing lists, and basic material control documentation
• Familiarity with warehouse or logistics environments
• Capable of driving box trucks or similar vehicles used for material movement
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Warehouse environment with regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment
• Work performed Monday–Friday during normal operating hours (0730–1600), with occasional travel between warehouse and Government sites as required
