Position Overview
Professional Analysis Inc. (PAI) is seeking a Senior Manager/ Operations Manager to serve as the overall lead for a contracted effort supporting a Department of Defense program office. This position is responsible for managing contract execution, overseeing program resources, and serving as the primary interface between PAI and Government program authorities. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing complex government contracts, leading multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring successful delivery of contract requirements in a mission-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort
- Act as the primary point of contact with Government program authorities on technical, program, and project matters
- Oversee contractor execution of all task order requirements to ensure compliance, quality, and timeliness
- Plan, manage, and allocate program resources, including personnel, tools, and support assets
- Direct day-to-day operational activities and ensure alignment with contract objectives
- Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Coordinate staffing actions, workforce planning, and personnel utilization
- Ensure contract deliverables, reporting, and communications meet Government expectations
- Support acquisition, onboarding, and management of program/project resources
Required Qualification
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a relevant discipline
- Experience: Ten (10) or more years of experience performing program management, operations management, or related leadership functions
- Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance (required)
- Demonstrated experience serving as a primary interface with Government customers
- Proven ability to manage complex contracts and lead multidisciplinary teams
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to operate independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing Department of Defense or federal government contracts
- Familiarity with task order management, performance oversight, and contract compliance
- Experience supporting program offices, headquarters environments, or large operational efforts
